    does anyone know of a good book/video on how to do case repair for wear through?

    Any help is appreciated.

    There was jeweler in Boston who, I am told, has since moved to Portsmouth NH that did a pretty good job on GF and gold worn through cases. He soldered the cases with gold solder and then replated the entire case. He did not always do a great job of matching the color to the old color, but it he plated both the case and the bezel, it was usually just fine. Gold filled was easier for him than gold as I recall, but the last work I had done was over 10 years ago.

    It is not clear what help a video would be. I think if you are a goldsmith, you can do it and if you are not a goldsmith, you need to become one before you do it.
