Can you give some info on this Universal Geneve Pocket Watch?

I have this beautiful Universal Geneve. Can you give me as much info as possible?When was it made? Quality of the movement, watch, etc.... The movement is Swiss made 17 Jewels. And the only number I see is 56 (serial number?).

According to the movement archive (thank you Dr. Roland Ranfft) the UG 56 would appear to be a Movado movement. It is actually a wrist watch movement fitted to a smallish pocket watch case.

I can't tell you much about your watch other than that I have seen a number of other very similar examples. Indeed, I collected three of them, but I have since sold two. Shown first below is my remaining example, a very pretty little Juvenia. The second example is a gold plated version, also by Juvenia, but with a different movement. The third example is a Gubelin, but with a movement very similar to the first Juvenia. These watches seem to be from the 1950s or 1960s.
