I've had this clock for a while. Bought at auction. Never had a reason to open up and look at the movement, because the clock has always ran and is still running, but did bring it down off the wall yesterday and would like to find out who the maker is and possibly about when it was made. The trademark is hard for me to see, but maybe someone else might recognize it. Thanks 100_1897.JPG 100_1894.JPG 100_1895.JPG 100_1899.JPG 100_1900.JPG 100_1901.JPG

The Peerless mark is that of Mathias Bäuerle GmbH. It was registered in 1922.

Thanks for the correction, Andrew. I wonder, though, whether it might at some point have had to be re-registered. Were these registrations time-limited? My source, mikrolisk.de, did mention 1922, and a similar one again in 1938. The clock in question appears, to my mind, to be closer in time to 1922.

I think you are right. The logo was registered in April 1922.
