H/C I wasn't fishing, and not asking anyone to "bite". It is just that sometimes on these forums people with strong convictions seem to be misinterpreted . It is my assumption that most that are here, enjoying the MB to share and learn.. regardless of their experience. So I understand people with strong convictions may come on strong. As long as members are making sure they focus on the problem and not the "person" I am fine with varying opinions. Of course it is up to the reader to sort out what is appropriate.

And btw I do respect your contributions, so don't worry about that.

Yepp, picked up about 70 assorted ones for 8 bucks last Sunday. About half of them are good, and maybe 10 or 12 or common ones used on Hermles or American T/S movements. So, a great deal. Plus one humongous main spring (marked #323 SARGENT) that I have no idea where (or on what) it would have been used.
