I have recently came across a bulova accutron demonstrator and cannot find any information on it. Is there any one who can give me any info on it. Or any clue as to how I can find info on it. Maybe an estimated value. From the one picture i have found online the red on mine is faded but otherwise in fairly good condition

If this is an Accutron 214 model, they were made available to Accutron dealers back in the early days of Accutron for point of sale purposes. The ones I saw back in those days were in a clear lucite block, and the movement was accessible. The unit served another purpose. Servicing an Accutron 214 in the early days was something that watchmakers were neither trained, nor equipped to do. Bulova solved that problem later by offering suitcase classes all over North America. For $ 125.00 you got a 214 Accutron to work on, all the necessary equipment (except for non-magnetic tweezers, screw drivers, hand removers, and Rodico) for the purpose, a Bulova instructor, and lunch. It was a one day class, and you stripped your 214 and re-assembled and re-phased it by class end. I took the course in 1964, and I still have the Accutron! Anyway, the movement in the demonstrator could be used to replace a troublesome movement in a customer's watch if you didn't know how to fix his watch.
