    hello all,
Does anyone know of a service that rewinds Bulle coils? There used to be a fellow in England that did it but stopped several years ago.

Thanks in advance for any leads,
    Jim

I guess you mean Peter Smith?
I’m pretty sure that one of the “case histories” on Pete’s website tells you how he did it. www.horologix.com has proved almost as good as a restoration textbook for some of those techniques.
    Hope that helps

There is a gentleman in Germany who rewinds coils.
I can try to get you in contact if wanted.

    Frank, here's how:

    1) Click on tickntock1's avatar, and his profile window will open.
    2) Just below his avatar in the profile window are the words "Start a Conversation".
    3) Click on that and a new window will open with the message box already addressed to tickntock1, all you need to do is insert a title and then type your information for him in the text box.
    4) When the message is finished, click on the green "Start a Conversation" button and it will be sent directly to him with an email notice as well. You will immediately see what you have written on your screen, it will look like a normal Message Board post, and can be edited if needed.

When he replies, you will receive an email notice as well. Just click on the link in that notice and it will take you directly to the conversation you started. You can also find the conversation when you are signed in on the Message Board, by clicking or hovering on your avatar that is in the top menu bar to the right end, next to the magnifying glass icon. There will be a red circle on your avatar if you have any unread messages in the conversations section.

    Hope this helps!

    Thank you, John!
However I did not find what you described in 2). Can it be, he did not activate PMs?

Frank, that is in everyone's profile so I don't understand why you don't see it. Can you take a screen shot and post here so I can see what it looks like to you?
