I have this buf 1918 to 1928 just looking for the size suspension spring it would take

According to the repair guide, and corrections I've made to it, this is a Huber movement and likely 1911-1914. The guide suggests 0.0035" for a suspension spring.

I understand now. Read a long thread on Huber John Hubby commented on about making clocks for most of the makers back then.
So the movement maker is more important to identify suspension spring. Thanks again. Had to start with a .40 and sand it down.
