Broken pin on a pin pallet anchor

M

Monte

I have a Schatz miniture, plate 1013B, with a broken pin pallet. I would like to know where to go for a replacement anchor, complete. As tiny as this thing is, I cannot see me being able to drill it out and replace it. I know this isn't the sort of thing the regular suppliers would carry.
Thanks,
Monte

Strictly a source for 400-day clock supplies and parts. They also have THE book for repairing these clocks. Best to call rather than email.

Monte,You may be able to extract what is left of the pin by driving it out..I replaced a pin pallet by driving the pin out using a sewing needle just smaller than the pin(grind the pin point off first)once the old piece was out I replaced the pin with another needle and cut it to the proper size. It`s a bit tedious but it can be done.

My wife is really miffed at me now. I went through her sewing kit and bent every needle she had, trying to drive out that pallet.
Oh well...
Horolovar, here I come.
Thanks all,
