Hello there!

I recently acquired a hunter case pocket watch. The movement is unmarked, the case is marked with "Brighton Watch Co" but as we know case may have a different story.

I googled about Brighton and it seems to be an English make.

Can you help me on identifying this watch movement? What year it maybe manufactured? Someone says it's a Swiss made movement that make it appear an English make.

The American connection - the case. I am not sure which applies here, although I suspect the former. I'm sure someone on the forum will be able to help.

Brighton Watch Co. had been used by E. Mathey-Tissot as a business name since 1917 in 1926 canceled and remains E. Mathey-Tissot.
