Looking for some information on the manufacturing of 19th century cast brass clocks of French origin The casting and quality of assembly on examples containing multiple parts really seems impressive. Books or website ?

Wondering what year this recent find might be, likely 1850's or later, more like 1890's. . . 18" tall and about 15 lbs. There are two tones to the finish. . one brass, the other a copper..

Have you got the clock as well? Also more photos of the case showing its construction, such as photos of the bottom, would help.

I will be looking for a movement, dial w/bezel & back plate w/rods. The dial opening is 3 3/4". . . is this a more likely to be a European or domestic makers size ? Most of the bezel/dial sizes I've seen are larger then what I need.
