I got this "marble" clock.
Can someone tell me more about it?
Please post a photo of the movement, then perhaps we can say more about the maker.
That is definitely one heavy looking clock. Most likely it will have a roulant movement, which were made/assembled by a variety of french makers. They are high quality and built to last.
It is indeed a French clockmovement.

It looks like a French movement. The maker's name is probably on the little round stamp which is hidden by the pendulum rod. You need to unhook the pendulum and post a clear photo of the little round logo.
The name on the dial is likely the retailer.
lovely french marble clock in an impressive case,in need of service. If You are interested in these high quality clocks see that You get a copy of Nicolas Thorpe´s "The French Marble Clock",it covers both historical and technical aspects.
Nice French marble clock with a pendule de Paris movement that is in need of a service, the stamp on the backplate should reveal the maker.
Very nice piece. Past neglect is obvious. Will be very nice when you get it serviced and cleaned up.
I bet that little sucker is heavy. Do not set on a $19.99 table from Walmart
