I just wanted to pay a friend,all around gentleman , great clock designer and maker,Bernie Tekippe a small tribute this morning. Members can read a wonderful obituary tribute, in the current Bulletin, written by his son Byron. Bernie always said,in his opinion, his "simple regulator" kept as accurate time as any other regulator clock not in a tank and I agree. I own clock #7 and this and many other mornings, checked it against my Micro Set timer set at 240 beats, to find it keeping time to the exact second.
