Just received my copy of the new book by Sunny Dzik which is a comprehensive analysis of Pull Repeat Striking on Early English clocks. The book has photos, descriptions and explanations of the pull repeats of approximately 200 clocks dating from 1675-1725. Without doubt this will be the standard text for many years to come. I would hate to think how much work when into collating and described so many clocks. I'd suggest you get in fast to get a copy before they get sold out....

Here's a link to the English distributor.

Mine arrived yesterday. This is an excellent book and great value - - the British Horology Chapter also bought copies to use as grand prizes at the National Convention / Time Symposium.

Agreed. Its hard to comprehend how much work has gone into that book! Mine is going to get a good workout as I have several pull repeats to restore which will be based on the details from the book.
