I'm VERY new to the clock world - though my pedigree should argue otherwise as there are 3 generations of "clock men" behind me. So far all the clocks I've built use cheap Chinese movements from Primex and Loricron; and my regrettably shabby woodworking skills. If I'm not building my own movements should I refrain from posting here? Thanks in advance, yours B.L.D.

Cool looking clocks! I used to live in Norwood. Just down from Pleasant Ridge and Losantiville Rd. I like the Celtic inspired designs. I think you're fine posting here. Some purists say clockbuilding means case and movement. Lots of clock "manufacturers" didn't make their own movements.
