Got a 5 tube into the shop without a leader. Dose anyone have a picture of this leader, or a spare they could let me buy or copy.

Thank you

I believe there is actually no leader. The pendulum is connected to the suspension spring and it has a connector that sets in the saddle on the movement, right?

Yes this is correct. Unless he's referring to the pendulum crutch as shown above, there isn't much of a leader like on the smaller German outlines.

OK. I see. Can you post a photo of the hook on the top of the pendulum rod? That will help in determining what leader fits.

You have a Monastery grade movement which uses a different leader than what most of the archived examples have. I don't have the greatest view but it should be a brass strip, similar to what other German movements use. From a previous thread:

Thank you I was thinking the same thing. But ya never know when somebody buys from an auction then brings it to ya with what they have.

The clock belonged to another collector and no photos showing a straight-on view were taken. Here is a rough sketch of what it should look like, the brass should be just thin enough to fit into the pendulum crutch. Hooked on top, smooth on bottom.
