I am servicing a Baumgartner cal 582 and have run into some problems. When I removed the day/date mechanism some parts jumped free before I managed to observe how they were mounted.

When assembling the movement I can't figure out how these parts fit.
The two parts are shown here below the date/day dials (together with the spring that pushed them free...)

I know where they are to be mounted but don't know how to turn them etc.....

Can anyone here shed some light on how to get these parts back where they belong?

Hello, I’m trying to reassemble a bf582cldd movement. Do you have the specific diagram for that?
Thank you!

Welcome to the forum.

I am afraid I don't have any diagram besides what Chris posted above. I work on this type of movements without any service manuals but on this one I got stuck on the date jumpers.......

Is there any particular area where you need support?

Regarding service manuals perhaps Chris can help.

I had a nightmare recently working on a Bum!!! Here is a post from the work: https://mb.nawcc.org/threads/baumgartner-866-broken-lower-pivot.188665/#post-1541401

I found an old site with pics and exported to a PDF so maybe is some way this will help:

Sorry but Bump mechanism? This is not a bumper type movement.......

Do you mean the same parts I had trouble with? Then the picture in the post above helped me get things together.

OK. Enlarge the picture in the post#2 above and you should easily see how the two parts fit. Then the spring goes in after the plate is mounted if I remember things correctly.......
