I have a brown bakelite-cased Barr clock that is in need of an "organ transplant." This clock is illustrated in Mark Stein's "20th Century Modern Clocks" book on page 17, bottom center. The motor runs fine but the "gearbox" must have some wear in it; I suspect the bad gear may be phenolic or plastic, but I haven't disassembled the mechanism.
Does anyone have a spare, functioning gear box or the whole innards that they would be willing to part with? The time wheels appear to be intact.
