Would anyone be able to help with information on Bardon Electric clocks.

A search of the internet has revealed precious little. Other than Establissements Bardon in Clichy, Paris, France made them from 1920 to 1925 and that the clock has a square movement, which is advanced by a one-way ratchet system, the pendulum acting on the ratchet with each swing. At the same time an electrical contact energizes a coil in the base, which in turn repulses the pendulum, a heavy iron horse-shoe shaped unit.

Give the short production period there may not be many around.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Mark

Mark, contact Steve Berger at timesavers.com. He collects Bardon clocks and probably knows as much about them as anyone.
