Hi all,
I’ve always had a fondness for Austrian clocks, including the “picture frames”. I was fortunate enough to acquire this nice example of the latter at the beginning of the month, and just thought I’d share. Apparently all original and in very acceptable condition overall. The movement will have the benefit of a cleaning shortly but it is ticking away nicely at the moment, striking all quarters and naturally the hour. I’m placing it around 1820 in date, but it may be slightly earlier.

Thanks for looking and any comments are welcome, as always.
Best to all,

JJ

Very nice! It also shows the day of the month which adds to the interest.
