At a garage sale???

My wife refuses to take me to any more garage sales. After I walked out with FIVE clocks, I thought she would leave me... o Angel that she is, she understands my addiction and we continued our day looking for more treasures. Of course, it is hard to top this which I found at the first place we stopped...



This is the Waterbury "Cleveland" thirty day wall clock in mahogany (60 beats per minute). Tran shows that it was in the 1917 Waterbury catalog and was also available in oak and in an 8 day model.

I also picked up a couple other wall clocks and a Waterbury perpetual calendar #43 in original oak. Haven't gotten around to checking out the others yet. I was too excited about the Cleveland. Nutjob

Yeah, they did! I've paid more for some kitchen clocks than I paid for this one. I was blown away. If I had more room in my car, I may have bought more, but I would have had to leave my wife there! That may have been asking too much, don't you think?

As Tinker Dwight says, this is not a 60 beat clock...but does have a seconds bit...nice clock...probably beats somewhere around 40
