Juat bought these two clocks are they junghan clocks. appreciate any info i could get
Don't have the book with me, but I have the one on the left and it is. The other one looks like it, but the spring guard is kind of in the way, but I know that round plate movements in 400 day clocks are very uncommon and the three ball pendulum matches, so I would guess that it is, too. I saw that auction and you got three great clocks; congrats!
The bases look like Gustav Beckers to me...we know that Junghans took over GB in the late 1920s.
I couldn't find the pendulum in the repair guide...very unusual style to me.
Both clocks are by Junghans. Looks like the higher numbered clocks had the three ball pendulums yours have. I've recorded exact matches for both for your clocks so I'd say they're both original. What are the serial numbers?
Here is a similar round dial clock: Interchangability of discs for early 400 day clock
or here: Gebr. Junghans plate 1625
What is the serial number of this clocks?
Thank you I was really wondering about the three ball pendulums. Sorry I didnt answer i dont think i got a email alert but i might have missed it. I dont have clocks in my possession yet they just shipped to colorado. And I won't be back for two weeks Will let you know the serial numbers than
