are the hands of this clock original..and anythin else look odd?

    ive never seen a japanse clock with extended hour hand...does this look right?

    (i think im overreacting here!!)

    anything else look suspicious while we are here. (particularly the finish?)

    For one thing, the hands are not a matched pair.

    I agree with inbeat, they are not a match. The length of the min. and hour hands is correct.

    They may be correct - many hands have non-matching minute and hour hands - witness nearly every longcase clock or English Dial ever made.
    What do you mean by extended hour hand? It looks (they both do) the correct length. :confused:
    Cannot really see much of the finish or the hands in detail.
