    Wristwatch, c. 1917, Elgin National Watch Company. 3/0 size, Model 2, Grade 419, 15 jewels, 3/4 plate, nickel, double roller, pendant set, hunting, silvered metal Arabic dial with luminous numerals marked “Elgin,” seconds at 6:00. Black painted screw back case marked “Depolier Trademark”, “Waterproof Watch” on side of case. Inside of case back marked “Pat. Feb/ 22, 16. Sept.11, 17. June 11,18. Jan. 28,19. June 10, 19.” Crown locks down, both back and glass bezel screwed down by 'tags.” Very early 'Depolier Case' Patent No: 1,172,601, granted Feb.22 1916 (filed Nov 9, 1915). Elgin, serial number 20653936.
