• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

Antiqueclockspriceguide.com still in business?

I have been unable to access antiqueclockspriceguide.com for the past 3-4 weeks. I tried to email Jeff Savage and Ryan Polite and both of their email addresses are no longer valid. I left a message their voice mailbox which has not been replied to. Their greeting on the mailbox said they were updating their website and apologized for any inconvenience. Does anyone know if they are actually still in business? I've relied on their site for more than 10 years to help identify and value clocks and would hate to learn that they went belly up.

They seemed to be down for a few days last month. At least I couldn't access it along with some other folks back then. But, I worked fine for me yesterday on several searches. Works fine for me right now also.

Works for me.

You might want to clear your cache/history in your browser and then reload your browser and try again.

You might try finding Jeff Savage or Ryan Polite via Google to see if there is any problem.

archive.org offers a service called 'the wayback machine', which lets you search/access zillions of snapshots of websites over time.

i submitted an inquiry via the contact form and will let you all know if they respond.

I was last in there a bit over a month ago. I bought limited access for a day or two to research a certain type of clock. It worked fine then, today, no access at all.I would be very sad to lose it, a nice resource for purposes of researching on prices and the like

Can't get the site to load. What a loss it'd be if it permanently goes down, I remember browsing the archives for hours on end looking through all sorts of antique clock listings. Even in the age of more modern websites, there was always something special about Antiqueclockspriceguide.

If you search the forums for antiqueclockspriceguide, there are threads such as this one that indicate the site is off line periodically, but does seem to come back. I didn't read the complete threads, but perhaps some offer contact information or reasons for the outages.

Today I received this message from Jeff Savage in reply to my inquiry.

"Hello Steven,

I appreciate your email and the interest from the NAWCC members who use my site. The problem is definitely on my end. Everything was working fine but the site went down on February 17 when I was out of town and I just returned. I lost my 20 year business partner, Ryan, during the pandemic. He handled all of the tech details. I know some but not enough to fix the site at present. It is basically down to a one man business at present me! I just hired someone else who began helping me today to resolve the problem and I hope to have the site up again soon. It is of the utmost importance to me to resolve this as quickly as possible for the sake of my subscribers.

I would appreciate it if you could pass this information along to any interested parties. I will be happy to extend their subscription by a generous amount once we are back online, which I am hoping will be by the end of the week at latest. Alternatively, I can refund their subscription fee and they resubscribe once the site it back online. I will do whatever it takes to make it right for you. The site has been active form 22 years now and I am tearing out what little hair I have left trying to remedy the problem ASAP.

All the best,

Jeff Savage'

It's not a good situation.

The site works again and I'm already browsing through its archive. Jeff and everyone else involved with the site's upkeep have done a great job, here's to keeping it up for several more years to come.

Within the last 3 weeks I was able to get to the home page; however, after doing a search nothing came up. If I went to look up a model name I received an error message that the server was not available. My suspicions are that part or all of his system is corrupt.

I just attempted to get to the site and I cannot get the home page now.

If you try to reach them by email I expect that email is gone as well until they fix the site.

Interestingly enough, there is another well known clock dealer that suffered a cyber attack within the last 4 to 6 weeks.
