We are aware of the performance issues with the forum. These are due to problems with Comcast's shared lines in the Columbia, PA area. On December 15, we signed a contract to bring a dedicated fiber line to the forum servers. It should take somewhere between 30 and 90 days to install. Thank you for your patience.
I am stumped by this clock…see what I did there? Lol Anyways I purchased this clock from a great local clock guy in Jefferson Texas and he has never seen one like it before. The man is 90 years old so this clock seems pretty rare. I believe it says made in England.
Well it doesn't creep me out at all, but everyone is different! But I can see that a totally black rabbit clock might look a little sinister.
I wonder if the black paint is original? A lot of it seems to have flaked off and it looks to my eye as if it might have been hand painted at some later date.
Since the paint is already in a rather poor state, I think I would remove it all and see if you find a nicely polished silver-colored rabbit to be less creepy. You could always repaint it if you wanted to, but I think a silver rabbit clock would look very fine and much less 'creepy'.
