This old-looking clock was found in a recently purchased house. I am not sure how old it is or where it originated from but it looks like its been through a lot! I have attached some photos. I am no clock expert so any feedback on age/origin etc would be a great help. Based on some internet searching it looks similar to images of a "French Baker's Clock" but that's all I've been able to find so far. I believe all parts are present/functional but it appears to need some attention from an expert. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Nice clock. There will be some experts that can identify it exactly but I'm pretty sure you are correct about it being a French bakers clock. Just a guess, but I'd put it at 1890-1910 era. Looks like someone serviced it in 1941. The movement looks very nice, thick plates and well made and I think there are mother of pearl inlays around the dial. I hope you choose to get it going, not because it's worth a fortune but because it's a nice clock that looks good too.
