Antique clock details

If any of you knowledgeable clock experts would be so kind to take a look at these pictures of this beautiful clock that I inherited from my parents and give me some information on it, I would be so grateful. It was shipped to Canada from somewhere in Europe in the 70s. That’s really all the info I know about it.

Your clock is an English 8-day time and strike longcase clock. Based on the colorfully painted dial and the hands I would date it around 1820.

Btw., the clock is shown in the "wooden movement clocks" section of the forum, but it will have a brass movement. This thread would better fit into the "General Clocks Discussions" section. Maybe an admin can move it over for you so you will get more responses.

Is that a name and location on the dial? Is this the type of partial words that a black light can help unveil?
