Would anyone happen to know the name and date approx. of this Ansonia clock. The clock is slate with a marble inlay. It has one of those round movements made by Ansonia.

The style of the mantel clock in your photo came in vogue about the turn of the 20th century and was out of fashion by the end of WWI.

Jeff, The clock appears to be the "El Lakme" model c. 1904 according to the Tran Duy Ly Ansonia book. It sold for $21.40 at the time. David "owen.or"
