Hi all. When did Ansonia start being made again after they sold all the gear to Russia in 1928?

I believe the name wasn't sold and that was acquired by someone in the US.

I had a feeling it was in the mid 1960s but that's possibly not quite right. lol

Ansonia sold their equipment, etc., to the Soviet Union in 1929.

The company that used the Ansonia name was started in 1963. The Ansonia name was acquired by that company in the late 1960s. The company was located in Washington State.

How the Ansonia name was "acquired" is not quite known. It could have been purchased from whomever owned the name in the late 1960s or the trademarks and/or tradenames for Ansonia could have expired by the late 1960s. If expired, anyone could re-register the various trademarks and tradenames.
