Hi all,

I bought this Ansonia clock.
17 1/2 tall
There's 5 1/2 on the back plate.
If anybody knows a bit more...
And yeah, not in good shape, but it as a beat...

Now, I've made some search and the question is:
Is that a Fake Ansonia Jupiter? Or I picked up a real one for 50$...?

I've never seen one of these in the flesh, as it were, but from what I could find, I see nothing to suggest it is a reproduction. I do note that the top front is missing some decorative trim that more or less matches the decorative trim at the front of the base. Look at this one:

I think the top have been inverted when reassembled because the decorative trim is at the back and match the one at the base..

Nice looking clock, and i agree its not a repro.
