Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.
If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.
Tran duy Ly's Ansonia Catalog Reprint illustrates "Sussex" as #116 on page 135 (hanging clocks) as a 1924 catalog entry. 8-day running 11-1/2" square cased, white dial, lever movement 8-1/2 square white dial.
There was a wood cabinet clock (in oak per 1894 catalogue) called the Sussex and a brass-finished metal clock called the Sussex (1901 catalogue). Not unknown for names to be recycled.
Thank you very much Steven. you have answered that fully. Its just the wooden clock is on its way to me, but my own findings showed brass, by all accounts it hasn't got the correct top finial, i wonder what the original could be?
