The year and name of the clock, I think 1879 to1883 I looked at Ansonia history site. I'm looking forward to cleaning the brass up, so far It keeps good time but has only been running for a couple of hours. The movement is stamped Ansonia patent , New York. Can anyone help?

The model name was the "Earl" without the cloisonne inlay. With the cloisonne inlay the model name was the "Emperor". Yours has the beautiful cloisonne inlay. The clock shows up in the 1914 Ansonia catalog and was likely offered for at least a few years before and after that year. David, Owen.or

Is this a rare clock, because i seen a new listing on Ebay last night and they say it's Rare. I'm not planning to sell but it would be nice to know for future reference.
Thank you David for the Imfo. I'm getting closer to Identifying
