In 1914, Ariste Racine reversed his last name to establish the brand "Enicar". The Racine family was a long time Swiss watchmaking dynasty by that time. In the '50's-70's their classic "Sherpa" style cases were rugged and very popular. Today they are very collectable. Below is the pilot version (GMT) called the Jet-Graph. Some others were the Sherpa-Graph and the Aqua-Graph. There were also several time only and time plus GMT only dive and pilots' watches in the Sherpa series. The Racine family also seems to have resurected the defunct brand Gallet at some point and under that proud name made some wonderful chronograph watches too.
