I bought this to check it out. Seems to list on UK auction site.

It seems to work fine, no idea if the jaws are hard or not. The clamp holds to the inlcuded plate well; although the plates are a different thickness than tmy Bergeon. But by removing the clamp handle you can adjust the depth of the clamp foot.

At least 1/2 the cost of listed Bergeons and who knows how much less expensive than a new one.

Hi Dewey,
At least 1/2 the cost of listed Bergeons and who knows how much less expensive than a new one.
Cousins sell one that they coyly describe as 'non Swiss', for £54 plus carriage, and the Bergeon one for £275, more than 5 times the price! I doubt if it's 5 times as good . . .

Regards,

Graham
