• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

Another Mi-Ken novelty clock

Here is a little Mi-Ken novelty clock my daughter found for me. It is ceramic and in very good condition. It even has the little paper tag with the instruction. It didn't have a key and I was wondering if anyone knew what size it would take. I have several novelty clock keys, but they were a little too big. They fit the more modern novelty clocks.

Thanks,
Missy

Missy, if no one can help you, it might be necessary to order a few small keys from Timesavers. Possibly an assortment from #0 to #4, unless you know the size of your smallest key that is too large.

Timesavers # 10171 should fit it.

Thanks Harold, that is what I was going to do. Just wanted to see if anyone knew for sure. It will have to be one of the smallest size. I have been needing to make up an order anyway.

Thanks Shut, I didn't see your post. I think it may take one smaller. The keys I have are too small for the Lux and Keebler clocks I have, so it may take a #0 or #00. But I will order one of each as I need the Lux and Keebler key also. I guess one never has enough keys. :)

I have been trying to get away from these clocks, but the clock virus is permanent and incurable. It may lie dormant for a while, but sooner or later it will come back!!! Between this board and people bringing me clocks to see if I can fix, I'm back into them again.

A friend brought me one a few days ago to see if I could get it to run. As soon as I can get some good pictures I will post them to get all of your opinions. A most interesting clock. Hint: one of my novelty keys fit it, but it's not a novelty clock.

I've got 18 of the novelty clocks for sale. Some are American, others Japanese. Let me know if you're interested in looking at some pics :)
