I got another pocket watch. The movement is 16 size, 21 jewels, Extra Superior adjustment.

My question is who manufactured this movement ?

If you have some idea, please let me know. Thanks!

Jon knows far more about watches than I ever will, but I think Yaorener's watch is a Touchon, not a C.H. Meylan.

I maintain serial number databases on C.H. Meylan and Touchon pocket watches. I have never recorded a C.H. Meylan with "Extra Superior Adjustment" inscribed on the movement, but 21 jewel Touchons with that inscription are fairly common. Except for some finishing details, they resemble Yaorener's watch. See the two photos below. The serial numbers I have for Touchons similar to Yaorener's are in the 4,XXX, 28,XXX, 42,XXX-44,XXX, and 55,XXX-62,XXX ranges. Yaorener's movement is number 57,905, right in the middle of the last range.

As always, the "real" maker of these movement could be ebauche maker or other supplier to Touchon.

Ethan is far too kind.
I think the signature settles the issue. I have several similar but none are signed, all are PL's. Ethan's first example as a bit of an Audemars Piguet look to it and know of some other Ap watches Touchon finished and sold. I suspect Touchon was very much present in La Brassus and still think these may have started with C H Meylan, who was also there.

From the sign of EXTRA and Superior, it should belong to Touchon or C.H Meylan. Top quality and very nice. Gold pins
