Question for anybody out there,
Who has reburished a Jahresuhrenfabrik c1902 plate 1471-from Horolovar 400 Day clock repair Guide with a Andreas Huber Temperature Compensating Pendulum?
I have bought one in rough condition and I have it cleaned, polished it and put together. Now working on diameter of the suspension spring and setting the beat. With the twin loops there is a slit that fits on the suspension spring for the temperature change. This slit when the suspension spring is set right, how high should this slit loop be from the bottom block??
Thanks,
Andre
