I bough this amazing Le Coultre earlier and it had a metal bracelet on it hiding a major problem. The dial is all original never redialed, never polished case, running but needs service, needs new crystal, needs a new strap. However......... one major issue with it. The bottom right lug seems to have been severely bent by the metal bracelet through heavy use. I tried putting a leather strap in to see how it held up and it is unwearable. The strap sits horribly crooked and looks bad. How should I go about this situation? It is 14k so it should be fixable right? Do I seek out a jeweler that can work on gold? Should I seek out an expert watchmaker? Any advice is appreciated!!

Nice find. I'm a big LeCoultre fan.
Yes. Take it to a competent case maker.
Your average jeweller may be able but many are not.

any comepetant jeweler with a laser welder and traditional heat as well should be able to fix this easily.

Congrats! Great find! (like has been polished... "never polished" is an internet echo-chamber non-thing. )

How is the band attached? Does it use female spring bars?
