Does anyone know how heavy the weights are supposed to be for this type of clock? I am used to pillar and scroll weights but this movement appears to need something heavier. Thanks for any guidance on this.

Groaner weights are generally rectangular in section, rather than round, and show up occasionally on eBay and at Marts. They weigh just about the same as round wooden movement weights (I just weighed an original set, and they weigh 3.5 pounds each). If the clock won't run on P & S weights, the movement is in probably need of some maintenance.
