The ratchet and crown wheel were interesting, it looks like the undersides were used for training or testing patterns.

Here is the case. It is a Dueber Newport Coin case. The one strange thing about is a gold color around the dial seating surface, I have no idea what that is. It is a color, not a base metal.

I do not know what is the appropriate dial for a M72 Champion, nor hands, other than it should say AWWCo.

The dial on my watch is a single layer with a depression for the seconds. When I say single layer, I mean it is not a single sunk dial. The dial is one solid piece of metal, the seconds is not cut out as in a single sunk dial.

I believe your dial is correct. I was just confirming that by showing one I had with the same style dial. I had another one also with the same style dial. You have a nice ‘72. These are late in the life of the wonderful ‘72. It is likely these are a “Private Label”.
