Hi, Steele, welcome to the message board. The only info I can find on Rice and Johnson, New York, NY, Ca. 1840's 106 Vesey St., Wood movement shelf clock with label (a spread eagle) reading "manufacturings of Brass and Wood clock at Wholesale and Retail, with patant spiral bells and warranted Accurate timekeepers." Also at 158 Greenwich, New York City. Ca. 1840. 30 hr. w/w OG. My source is Spittler and Bailey's American Clockmakers and Watchmakers, Volume 3. Hope this helps. Harold
