I have a friend, my mentor, John Kocsis, who has used this AhHa software version 4-1to make clocks on an x-y milling machine for 15 years. The company is our of business and his board was partially burned out. He needs parts and advice. He is 85 and does not have access to the internet. If you can help please contact me and I will put you in touch with him. He has been the main support to chapter 40 nawcc for more than 30 years and we are all trying to help him as much as he has helped us, thank you, Peter Elmendorf

    Several questions are needed.
    Where is he?
What type of computer does he have?
How do you know parts are burned out, did you see smoke?

One of my machines uses an old AhHa power supply, but all the drivers burned out -- I replaced them with Gecko drivers, and it works fine. It takes some doing, though, and better cooling than the original had, at least for larger step-motors. He'd wind up with a pretty good chunk of change in it, and there's probably some used Flashcut stuff on Ebay.

Hi Tinker, he is in ny state off exit 10 of the northway route 87, about 15 miles north of Albany. He has a Dell computer. Yes he saw smoke. He knows he needs some IC's. Thanks, Peter

Too far from me. Is it the computer or the stepper drivers that
are burnt? Not fun if either. Most older software will only run on
    older machines.
