Agassiz or Longines or .....???

    Hi,
    I have this 18s C H Church,Longansport pocket watch,I am pretty sure a private label.
    Has a very interesting movement that says Switzerland,and only other eye catcher is the caterpillar regulator that Agassiz used mostly.
    Please help.

    I don't think it is either Longines or Agassiz. It does, as Jess says look more like Badollet but I sort of doubt that too. Unless you find a mark under the dial I would simply call this generic Swiss. We can all argue about what it looks like but without a mark or without some contemporary trade advertisement a lot of these contract watches are just that...generic.
