Hello,

I do have a question: I own a Synchronome that has an A-frame with a plumb bob. I have never seen this before and I wonder if there were any other brands producing these A-frames...
In other words: Is this a real Synchronome A-frame?

My guess is that it is a casting made for the home build market. There were many Synchronome type clocks built from kits of parts. The Synchronome factory business supplied parts - as did others. As far as I am aware, all 'factory' supplied castings had moulded edges (not a plain flat pattern) to the outer sides of the 'A'.
I have never seem a plumb bob like that before.
