• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

I recently received my copy of The Longcase Clock Reference Book Vol 1 & 2 by John Robey. In my opinion this is the best of all the books published on the longcase clock. The photography is outstanding.

I have also recently received my copy of Longitude at Sea in the Time of Berthoud and Motel . Preface by David S. Landes Harvard University Translated by Anthony Turner. If you are interested in Berthoud & Motel this is the book. The photography is outstanding.

I agree that Robeys book is great. By the way he is the owner of mayfield books, a publishing house specialising in horology. He has a dozen or so titels of high quality.

Check out his website at

http://www.mayfieldbooks.freeserve.co.uk/

The books are all well produced.
