  5. It is an awesome book. And I think quite a good
    buy when compared with what Mercer's book seems
    to be going for. I believe there were about 1000
    printed and I got 700 something a year or so
    ago so don't wait too long.

    Most collectors would rather spend their money on more watches, rather than more knowledge! :rolleyes:

    I do have the book (as does the NAWCC Library in COlumbia, indeed they have two copies, which means you can borrow one by mail).

    The book is superb, unquestionably the definitve book on Arnolds (and his sucessors')work, mostly based one one persons (the authors') collection. Great photography made by a horologist, so there are not only "pretty" pictures but one sees what is important to a horologist.

    By the way, buying knowledge (ie books) at least to some people is just as fullfilling as buying one more timepiece.
