24 jewel bunn special

hi im new here, can anyone tell me what cases would be correct for a 24 jewel bunn special ,it was made in 1907

These movements were not cased at the factory. The movements
were shipped to a Jeweler, and then the customer would pick a case
that they liked. Any 18s time period correct case would be fine.

EDIT I would recommend one that held one with the same "case screw
marks", meaning it held a 18s Illinois of similar grade.


Here is my circa 1906 18s Bunn Special case as an example.



Ebay and Jones Horan may be a good source for one as are some
of the parts sellers like Dave's Watch Parts.

Welcome TimeKeeperM6. I am with Kent on the style but I think it is possible that a 1907 watch could have been cased in and older style like Rob showed if a jeweler had one around and the customer liked it.

I believe by 1907 the round bow, pumpkin or ball crown, cylindrical pendant, had fallen out of style. That does not imply that these cases were not available at this time, as with many things this was a transition period.

ok, my watch has a case ,its gold, screw on cover front, screw on cover on the back with engraving, it has a high stem and large ring
