There is a 'sticky' in the Tools forum that you can add your request to.

They are hard to find. It took me a while to find one, and it wasn't cheap.

Purchased one on ebay this afternoon. Purchased the Watchmaster 600 plus the 214 holder and the post bending tool in one package. Big bucks though. I am now poor.

That's good. Too bad you didn't get the index wheel holder with them.

Also, some of the sellers don't know which movement holder is which( or lie). Does your 214 holder look like this one?

I don't know yet. The photos on ebay were not that good so I will find out Monday or Tuesday. I will start looking for the index wheel holder. Looks like it will be inexpensive. haha

Blurry photos..? That doesn't sound good. They may have tried to fool you with 221 or 218 holders. You need a 218 holder anyway. I hope it works out well for you. My index wheel holder is the only one I have seen so far. It came with some other Accutron tools and I didn't know what it was at first.

You can make one out of a set of non-magnetic tweezers. In the '69 218 service manual, it shows you how on page 31. Just spot drill the inside near the tips. Use some strong wire or something to act as a clamp to keep the tweezers closed.

Did you get your holder and stuff in yet? The first photo shows the tuning fork and coil assembly of my 214 M1 nestled properly in the holder. The second photo shows how filthy the movement is and proves I was right about not applying power to it and "checking to see if it works". Other than filthy, everything is looking good so far with this movement. I wonder how many 1961 214 movements in good shape are still around?

Here's an article I wrote for an electronics repair blog on the Bulova Watchmaster 600 that you may like. It shows the innards and adjusting it and stuff. I also thought my M1 214 movement was a M9 when I wrote that article.

Have not received the movement holder yet. Coming FedEx and it is suppose to be here Wednesday. They shipped FedEx Smartpost which is just a little faster than a snail.

Since my 214 is a M1 instead of a M9, I decided to keep it as original as possible and not put a diode in it unless I have no choice. I'm also going to heed Samantha's advice and calibrate the tester at 0.95V for the 214, and 1.03V for the 218.

Good deal! You have a 214 & 218 holder. I'm glad you found them.
