Hi all! Well - these two were certainly an adventure to get running. I've had them for a while-paid just a few dollars for them both at a flea mkt. The 17 jewel one is an HB 115 movement. It had an unhooked mainspring, a loose pallet jewel, and a tiny metal shard floating around in the escapement that kept stopping it. The 7 jewel one is an EB 8020 (love that 1950's stylized dial!) It needed a stem and crown. How ever many stems I tried, none fit. I found I had to bend the set lever slightly on anvil to get it to catch the stem groove properly so stem would stay in watch. Both friends are now ticking away and keeping good time for the last 24 hours!
