They were purchased while he was stationed in Germany from 1966-1968. I was just looking to get as much information on the clocks as possible.

    Welcome to the message board, Jim! Based upon tabulated serial numbers, the first clock (SN 1100...) dates to early 1894. The other clock, I'm not 100% certain on the serial number...looks like there's no "1" in front so it starts with a "7". If it is "704...", that clock dates to the latter part of 1888. If there is a "1" in front, then it's like in the middle of 1903.

    Nice clocks to have in the family!

    Thank you for the help. The second clock I'm pretty sure has a 1 in front of it. It is hard to read. Either way I appreciate the help. I've got both clocks apart right now. Both clocks are need of a wheel to get them back running. I've inherited a total of about 15. I would like to eventually get them all running again. Again, thank you for the help.
